Workflow Template

A workflow template helps you track the progress of work in forms, tasks, and locations, or in processes.

A workflow template must have at least one status assigned. Statuses are customized based on the needs of the organization and can vary according to the type of workflow. Each status can be configured with a color to help you visually track progress.

Once a workflow template has been created in the business unit, the template can be assigned to tasks, forms, locations, and processes within a project in the Field View web application. Note that, for forms, you can assign the workflow template when first creating the form or when editing it. Likewise, for tasks, you can assign the workflow template when adding or editing the task. Once devices are synced, these workflow statuses are visible and can be updated in the project on the device.
