Users

Users are people who can log into the Field View web application to see data and perform actions within the application.

There are two types of users in Field View:
  • Business users
  • Project users

You can invite a user and they create their own login; or, for business users only, you can create a login for the user. When you add or invite a user, you assign them one or more roles, which control what that user has access to in Field View.

No matter who creates it, once a login name is created for a user, it cannot be modified. The login name must be unique across all Field View users in the Viewpoint data center, not just your company.
